Profile

A career spent solving the hardest part of product development — the part that has to be built.

Filip's career began in 1997 as an R&D engineer in the prototype and product development department at Nolato in Kristianstad — designing plastic parts, building moulding tools, running moldflow analyses and operating EDM, milling and lathe machines on the shop floor. That hands-on tooling background still informs every design decision today.

Since 2006, Filip has worked as an independent mechanical designer for clients including Profoto, Sony Ericsson, AXIS Communications, Stokke and Scania — handling 3D and surface modelling, FEM simulation, prototyping, IP and drop testing, DFM, and supplier work across Sweden, Europe and Asia.

The studio works as an extension of the client's team — embedded, accountable, and quietly relentless about quality. No templated processes, no junior handoffs, no surprises at the tooling stage.

How the studio works.

01

Production-ready by default

Designs are evaluated against tooling, supply chain and assembly from day one. No theoretical engineering.

02

Senior collaboration, end to end

You work directly with Filip across the entire project — strategy, design, validation and release.

03

Swedish engineering rigor

Methodical, documented, calm under pressure. Decisions are traceable and defensible.

04

Sustainable by design

Material choices, longevity and end-of-life considered as primary constraints, not afterthoughts.

Let's build something worth the engineering.
